Second Saturday Cinema
The Pearson Air Museum will hold the premiere of Second Saturday Cinema on March 8, 2008, in the museum’s Tex Rankin Theater.
On the second Saturday of each month, the Pearson Air Museum will feature a full length classic aviation-themed motion picture in its Tex Rankin Theater. This new film series, Second Saturday Cinema, will premiere on March 8, 2008 at noon, with a presentation of the The Spirit of St. Louis. This classic Oscar nominated 1957 film, starring Jimmy Stewart, chronicles the historic 1927 trans-Atlantic flight of Charles Lindberg.
Admittance to Second Saturday Cinema is included in Pearson Air Museum’s general admission.

New Exhibits
At remote and exotic locales around the world, news that the Clipper was in was sure to draw a crowd. For a brief period before the United States' entry into the Second World War, the Pan Am Clippers evoked the mystique of luxury and romance of far away lands unequalled in the annals of aviation. The glamour of the Clippers quickly captured the imagination of the public and images of the great flying boats soon appeared on all manner of products. Even those who had never ventured near the oceans became intimately familiar with the Pan Am Clippers.
The Pearson Air Museum is pleased to announce the opening of a new exhibit, The Clipper's In. This exciting new exhibit provides a brief glimpse into the history of the Pan Am trans-oceanic Clippers and the wide impact Clipper imagery had on the Depression-era public. The collection is on loan from Larry Weirather, author of the book The China Clipper, Pan American Airways and Popular Culture.

Pearson Field Historic Hangar
 The Pearson Air Museum's Historic Hangar was built in 1918 as part of the Army Spruce Division's cut-up plant, the largest such facility in the world. The building was moved to its present location by the Army Air Service in 1924 and has since served as an aircraft hangar. During the Second World War the hangar was used briefly to house Italian prisoners of war. The Pearson Historic Hangar is the nation's oldest wooden structure still used to house aircraft.
