April 4th from 4-8pm Pearson Air Museum Takes Part in First Friday Artwalk
Kick off April's first Friday Artwalk at the Pearson Air Museum where we premiere art with a historic theme. Join former US Bank economist John Mitchell as he showcases his collection of World War II aviation art; all of which have been signed by the veteran aviators who flew the aircraft. Join us from 4-8 in the Tex Rankin Theatre for complimentary refreshments.
May 14, 2008 Amelia Earhart Visits Pearson
Join us at 1:30 as Amelia Earhart played by Dr. Anne Birney tells us how she became involved in aviation and her trans-Atlantic flights. She will then take questions first as Amelia and then as a scholar. Regular admission applies.
May 31, 2008 Open Cockpit Day
The one day a year we allow museum visitors to climb into the cockpits of our aircraft. Hillsboro EAA Chapter will be on-site providing free airplane rides to children ages 8-18 with parental permission. First come first served.
July 4th, 2008 Join us as we celebrate the 4th of July on the Historic Reserve.
